Who do you trust as a partner for value-driven outcomes?

How many people do you trust to help you achieve your goals or get things done at home, work, or in your community?  In a recent workshop with a Brandman University facilitator, trust was described as 1) Ability, 2) Benevolence / Empathy, and 3) Integrity.  Some of you may view trust as an emotional experience versus a collection of observed behaviors.

The three elements of trust include:

  • Ability – Demonstrated capabilities — self and others
  • Empathy – Connection with the feelings of self and others
  • Integrity – Emphasis on doing the right things for the right reasons

Trust require time to establish and is experienced through validated learning.

What do you have to share about your perspective on Trust?  I would enjoy your perspective.
